A lot of portable speakers have came across my way and I did my best to provide real unbiased reviews that would highly benefit the average folk. Again, I’ve chosen a popular item that has increased its sales number over night and people are highly acclaiming it to be one of the best of its category and price range.

I'm not going to praise it any further because I haven't personally got a change to push it to the max and see what this unit is capable of in the long (or hard) run. But I will report every little thing users have stated after using this product for a while and formed a beneficial opinion for anyone looking to invest in such a unit.

This unit will probably be a good fit for anyone looking to purchase an easy to use, portable speaker and enjoy music effortlessly. A lot of people want to listen to their favorite tracks in a verity of places around the house or outdoors, this unit gives you that possibility.

First thing's first, the SuperTooth Disco speaker's streaming options and portability. Well, for streaming capabilities the guys from SuperTooth incorporated a Bluetooth A2DP 2.0 profile streaming feature (amazingly the Disco speaker can pair with up to 8 devices at a time). You can stream files from any mobile phone, PC or gadget equipped with the same technology. If you own a Bluetooth A2DP/AVRCP enabled mobile phone you can easily control functions such as Play, Pause, Previous, Next, Stop, Volume up and down directly from your device. This will let you enjoy music pretty much anywhere you have your phone/device with you; portability: YES! The unit also comes included with a 3.5mm stereo cable. This will allow you to connect the unit to most media devices and MP3 music players for a larger streaming capability and more music at your disposal.

When it comes to sound delivery and performance, this is great, but not audiophile, nor was it ever intended to be. This is after all a portable speaker. But amazingly, the SuperTooth Disco will sound really good when you connect it to a source by wire, although it wasn't built for such type of usage this really makes a big difference. It's design and sound delivery system is pretty much straight forward; this being equipped with two forward-facing speakers and a neodymium woofer (28 watts of power). It's frequency is 2,4 GHz, and that being said it really depends on what you listen to in order to make an appropriate decision regarding if this unit is or not for you.

I would have to say this French company really knows a thing or two when it comes to the minimum things you need to equip a unit such as this in order to make it fully functional as a portable speaker. It seems like they've taken everything into consideration: ease to carry around, battery performance and size. The unit is 12" long, 2-1/2" deep and 3-1/2" tall; it weighs about 3 lbs and is definitely easy to carry around for any type of user, no doubt.

With a battery that is rated to last between 3 and 10 hours, I see no reason why this unit should not be considered to be a great portable unit. Some users call the battery life as: "Just goes on and on". Overall an amazing little gadget which is definitely a high competitor in its price range, some might argue that it takes down some competitors from a few levels above.
