The Klipsch developers are already known for their high-performance, high-quality soundbar systems. But, they’ve outdone themselves with this one. Although I haven’t got the chance to completely test it at its full potential, I really think the Klipsch HD Theater SB 3 Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer will stay with us for a while.

The soundbar’s 300 watt peak system surpasses its younger brothers and promises to be this years’ winning home theater soundbar system.

  • 100% high definition sound
  • Simple, minimal clutter free design
  • Fairly high-priced for a soundbar system

The horn-loaded tweeters this system is equipped with really give a certain dynamic feel to the crisp highs and deep lows. The full detail sound is a particular quality you can usually find in Klipsch audio products. The power handling is stated by the developer at 300 watts peak, a little more than your ordinary soundbar system, but a little less than other units in the same price range. Nevertheless this unit will not disappoint any audiophile looking to buy a soundbar system.

The 3D option which is a faux surround sound function seems to be far superior to any other soundbar out on the market. This has been praised by many tech and audio enthusiasts. The credit-card type remote control looks easy to operate for any individual, no matter how 'low-tech' he may be. The amount of time used for setting up this system is probably 5-10 minutes; this is also a huge plus for many.

As for exterior specs the system's maximum load weight stands at 12.5 lbs (5.7 kg) for the soundbar and 25 lbs (11.3 kg) for the subwoofer. It also comes included with a one wall-mounting template, featuring two keyhole mounts.

This 2-way soundbar system with 10" rear-ported wireless subwoofer will definitely be worth every penny you invest in its audio performance. Any audiophile and picky buyer will definitely not return this. I truly believe that the Klipsch HD Theater SB 3 Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer is one of, if not, the best systems of its kind.
